I find myself craving human interaction. Even a socially-distanced smile or a brief hello from the person passing me, six-feet away on the street is enough some days. It feels like listening to the radio and hearing the hosts come on after a long stretch of music - reminding you that there is a person on the other side, listening too.

I've been struggling creatively and emotionally with self-isolation. As someone who is used to almost never having alone time, I suddenly find myself with too much of it. There are days when I go hours without talking or sometimes making any sound at all. I know self-isolation is for the best, and ultimately to protect my community and the members in it, but I can't help but feel that this silence is deafening.
